Homework !
Week of Aug 14th- Aug 18th
This week we are focusing on the letter B. We will trace the letter B, draw a few pictures of things that begin with the letter B and then we will practice writing our first and last name.
Homework packet has been given out in class, if the original copy has been lost an extra is available.
Suggested Activities at home: Parent and student can make a brown bear paper bag puppet and read Eric Carle's "Brown bear, Brown bear, What do you see?"
Week of Aug 21st- Aug 25th
This week we are working on safety awareness and traffic signals. We will identify the shapes of different traffic signs and identify the different safety colors.
Suggested at home activity: While driving in the car parents can ask children to identify traffic signs and what the colors indicate on the traffic signal.
Week of Aug 28th- Sept 1st
This week we will focus on identifying primary and secondary colors using water colors.
Suggested at home activity: Parents can assist students with mixing colors to make new colors., as well as making a tie-dye shirt.
